The 12 new markets include ASHEVILLE-GREENVILLE (WMYA-TV), LAS VEGAS (KVCW-TV), NORFOLK (WTVZ-TV), OKLAHOMA CITY (KOKH-TV), BUFFALO (WUTV-TV), MOBILE-PENSACOLA (WFGX-TV), CHARLESTON-HUNTINGTON (WVAH-TV), CAPE GIRARDEAU (WDKA-TV), SYRACUSE (WSYT-TV), MADISON (WMSN-TV), CHARLESTON (WMMP-TV) and TALLAHASSEE (WTWC-TV).
TCN expects to begin broadcasting in the remaining six SINCLAIR markets shortly. TCN is also in advanced negotiations with several other broadcast groups and expects to announce affiliations for additional markets soon.
Founder/CEO of TCN WARREN HANSEN said: “We are delighted to welcome these additional markets to the TCN fold. It is gratifying to have been able to add stations as quickly as we have, and a great credit to the engineering teams at both TCN and SINCLAIR.”
