James 'Doubledown' Howard Named PD Of WWDC & WQSR, Mike Killabrew Upped To PD Of WXTB

CLEAR CHANNEL/WASHINGTON, DC appoints JAMES "DOUBLEDOWN" HOWARD as PD of Alternative WWDC (DC101) & Adult Hits WQSR (JACK FM)/BALTIMORE replacing DAVE WELLINGTON, who exited two month ago (NET NEWS 9/3). DOUBLEDOWN has been PD at sister Active Rock WXTB (98ROCK)/TAMPA for the past four years. His first day in DC will be MONDAY, DECEMBER 6th.

Changes In Tampa

Back at WXTB, APD/MD MIKE KILLABREW has been upped to PD beginning DECEMBER 6th.  And ALL ACCESS hears that sister Talk WFLA-A Dir./Information Programming STEVE VERSNICK is adding PD duties for sister Sports WDAE-A (THE SPORTS ANIMAL) and Talk WHNZ-A as well, taking over from KILLABREW on the AM side.
