The sale by COX MEDIA GROUP of Adult Hits WCTZ (96.7 THE COAST)/STAMFORD-NORWALK, CT to EDUCATIONAL MEDIA FOUNDATION now has a price tag assigned to it, as the paperwork filed with the FCC shows a $15.5 million purchase price. WCTZ, which has changed its city of license to PORT CHESTER, NY, has a construction permit to move closer to NEW YORK CITY with a transmitter site in NEW ROCHELLE.
In other transactions filed with the FCC, MISSION NEBRASKA, INC. is transferring several noncommercial NEBRASKA stations to MY BRIDGE RADIO for assumption of debt. The stations include KROA/GRAND ISLAND, KPNY/ALLIANCE, KHZY/OVERTON, KHZZ/SARGENT, KMBV/VALENTINE, KRKR/WAVERLY, KQIQ/BEATRICE, KMBT/TECUMSEH, and KMHB/SEWARD, plus 13 FM translators.
PRAISE TEMPLE WAY OF THE CHURCH OF CHRIST, INC. is selling the construction permit for a new FM at SELIGMAN, AZ to ADVANCE MINISTRIES, INC. d/b/a NEW LIFE CHRISTIAN SCHOOL for $250.
PILGRIM COMMUNICATIONS, INC. has requested a Silent STA from the FCC for KVLE/VAIL, CO due to technical problems.
CAMRORY BROADCASTING, INC. and FARMERS AND MERCHANTS BANK have closed on the sale of Classic Hits KZAT-F/BELLE PLAINE, IA to GRUPO ROBLE, LLC for $200,000 plus an LMA before closing.
MUNBILLA BROADCASTING PROPERTIES, LTD. and MUNBILLA FORT HOOD, LTD. have closed on the sale of Adult Hits KBEY and Country KRHC-A/BURNET, TX, Adult Hits KHLE (106.9 PIRATE FM)/KEMPNER, TX, and KHHG/HAMILTON, TX to GARY L MOSS' M&M BROADCASTERS, LTD. for $1.1 million.
TRADE MEDIA CORPORATION has closed on the donation of KNIW-A/WINK, TX to non-profit HOME TOWN RADIO for $1 consideration.
And FOUR RIVERS COMMUNITY BROADCASTING CORPORATION has closed on the sale of FM translator W293AM/MARTINSBURG, WV to SHENANDOAH COMMUNICATIONS, INC. for $15,000.
