UNIVISION RADIO Pres./COO GARY STONE will retire from the Company at the end of the year after more than 40 years in the radio industry, and after 25 years at UNIVISION RADIO and its predecessor, HISPANIC BROADCASTING CORP.
"With a career in radio spanning four decades, GARY has had a tremendous influence on the industry and has been a valuable member of the UNIVISION team for many years," UNIVISION COMMUNICATIONS Pres./CEO JOE UVA said. "His leadership has resulted in significant growth of our radio operations and the success of many multi-platform efforts across the Company. I want to personally thank GARY for his numerous contributions to UNIVISION RADIO, and wish him all the best as he enters this next chapter."
UNIVISION is evaluating candidates to succeed STONE. UNIVISION LOCAL MEDIA Pres. PETER WALKER will continue to oversee all operations and sales for UNIVISION RADIO, as well as UNIVISION’s local TV stations and local interactive properties.
