CURB/NASHVILLE artist RODNEY ATKINS recently became the first Country artist to perform at NEW JERSEY’s legendary STARLAND BALLROOM. Not only was he the first Country artist to join the club's roster of acts, including everyone from JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE, FOUNTAINS OF WAYNE, GODSMACK to THE BLACK CROWES and SOCIAL DISTORTION, but he did it with a sell-out crowd.
STARLAND'S JON VENA said: “Simply put, Country has always been a big-name draw in our market. However, with the addition of a new Country station in the market (PRESS COMMUNICATIONS Country WKMK/MONMOUTH-OCEAN, NJ), Country music is now viable on the club level. We couldn't be happier to welcome Country music to the STARLAND with RODNEY.”
