MOXY RECORDS artist CHELSEA FIELD teamed up with CW NETWORK’s ‘Vampire Diaries’ star IAN SOMERHALDER for a Cajun-themed music event in SOMERHALDER’s hometown of COVINGTON, LA called, “UNLEASHED! BASH ON THE BAYOU,” on SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 13th. The pair raised over $100,000, with all proceeds going to benefit St. TAMMANY HUMANE SOCIETY, a local no-kill animal shelter.
FIELD was the musical talent for the evening, with over 1,000 supporters, and 32 pets showing up for the event. “Working with IAN on this event is something I will never forget," FIELD said: "The event raised a serious amount of money and I know in my heart that more than a few lives were saved. It doesn’t get any better than that.”
FIELD continues her ST. TAMMANY fundraising mission with the recent iTUNES release of “Love’s Never Leavin.’” The song is currently available for download with all proceeds benefiting ST. TAMMANY.
