CURB RECORDS/NASHVILLE artist JO DEE MESSINA has announced she will perform her second annual CHRISTMAS concert benefiting HARVEST HANDS COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CORP. (CDC), a non-profit, faith-based organization in SOUTH NASHVILLE. HARVEST HANDS CDC seeks to work with community development focusing on healthy living, education, spiritual formation and economic development. The “Inspirational Evening of Words and Music with JO DEE MESSINA” will take place SATURDAY, DECEMBER 4th at BRENTWOOD UNITED METHODIST CHURCH.
Tickets for the show are free and concertgoers are asked to make a donation via www.jodeemessina.com, www.harvesthandscdc.com and www.bumc.net. Last year, JO DEE’s event sold out two concerts with all 3,000 free tickets claimed and raised over $30,000. This year, JO DEE will perform one show at 7:00p (CT) in the format of her “Music Room Series” tour, where she will take requests and chats with fans.
The BRENTWOOD UNITED METHODIST CHURCH will open a “Holiday Gift Shop” at 6p (CT) where HARVEST HANDS COMMUNITY products benefiting HARVEST HANDS will be sold.
“I feel so blessed to be able to help folks give to the HARVEST HANDS,” said JO DEE. “And I’m grateful that BRENTWOOD UNITED METHODIST CHURCH is again, this year, facilitating the cause.”
