TYLER MEDIA Country KJKE (93.3 JAKE FM)/OKLAHOMA CITY launched its “Coalition to Save THANKSGIVING” late last week and has garnered local media coverage. The station is gathering online signatures from listeners venting their frustrations over the holiday shopping season being rushed earlier and earlier every year. 

JAKE morning personality CRASH POTEET said: “The response has been passionate and overwhelming to save THANKSGIVING from corporate types looking to squeeze it out completely in order to increase their bottom line by forcing CHRISTMAS down out throats too early. The mall having holiday displays up the day after LABOR DAY is a bit ridiculous.”
