ESPN RADIO will once again take part along with the other ESPN networks and platforms in "JIMMY V Week For Cancer Research," the fourth annual cancer awareness event and fundraiser named for the late college basketball coach and ESPN commentator JIM VALVANO. The radio network will feature guests related to the fight against cancer all week.
This year's "JIMMY V Week" will take place DECEMBER 1st-7th, starting with a simulcast of VALVANO's 1993 ESPY Awards speech across all ESPN video platforms; the event has raised over $2.63 million for cancer research, including over $950,000 last year.
