WGN Helps Brides-To-Be With Gown Swap After Bridal Shop Burns Down

TRIBUNE Talk WGN-A/CHICAGO is coming to the rescue of customers of a bridal shop destroyed in a fire WEDNESDAY afternoon, launching a FACEBOOK campaign to connect brides-to-be who lost their gowns in the fire with women willing to lend them their old gowns.

EVA'S BRIDALS of OAK LAWN, IL burned down WEDNESDAY, and during THURSDAY's morning show with GREG JARRETT, who is broadcasting live TODAY (11/19) from across the street at PALERMO'S as part of the station's "Hometown Voices Tour," the idea arose to use the station's FACEBOOK page to help the women who lost their wedding dresses.
