COX MEDIA GROUP/RICHMOND stations will be holding day-long, live broadcasts at area Kroger stores from NOVEMBER 18-20th for their Feed Richmond campaign, which will benefit the CENTRAL VIRGINIA FOOD BANK.
Richmonders who come by and show their support for the CVFB will be eligible for prize giveaways, music and the opportunity to donate food and funds. Last year, FEED RICHMOND collected over 136,000 lbs. of food.
A new addition to the live broadcasts this year will be the K95 Campout with CATFISH & LORI. K95’s CATFISH and LORI will be camping out in an RV at the CHESTER KROGER location for all three days, entertaining listeners and customers who donate. There will be live entertainment and special promotions.
"The CENTRAL VIRGINIA FOOD BANK is desperately in need of help, especially this time of year," CMG Richmond VP/Market Manager BOB WILLOUGHBY said. "CMG RICHMOND, along with our community partners, feels privileged to be able to help FEED RICHMOND for the third year in a row."
