JOURNAL BROADCASTING Country KFDI/WICHITA, KS has announced that it will host an acoustic benefit performance featuring COLUMBIA/NASHVILLE artist JOSH THOMPSON at CABARET OLD TOWN’s theatre on TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 30th.
Tickets are $10 each for the show, $20 for the show and special “meet and greet” with THOMPSON. The 165 available tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-serve basis during regular business hours at the KFDI studios, 4200 N. Old Lawrence Rd. Only cash purchases will be accepted.
“Thanks to CABARET OLD TOWN’s generous contribution of their theatre, every single dollar raised from JOSH THOMPSON’s show goes directly to the CHRISTMAS CRUSADE,” said OM/PD BEVERLEE BRANNIGAN.
The WICHITA POLICE DEPARTMENT’s annual CHRISTMAS CRUSADE FOR CHILDREN matches individuals from throughout the WICHITA area with underprivileged children in the community for whom they purchase presents. New, unwrapped gifts will be dropped off between NOVEMBER 29th and DECEMBER 17th to be wrapped by volunteers and distributed by WICHITA police officers.
