Six-Figure Sales Rocket Country Artists To The Top 10

KID ROCK, RASCAL FLATTS, KEITH URBAN and TAYLOR SWIFT were among the artists that appeared in the Top 10 biggest selling albums last week, according to numbers from SOUNDSCAN. The Top 9 albums in the Top 200 all sold six-figure amounts. In their first week of release, KID ROCK came in at #5 scanning 188,788 units of “Born Free,” and RASCAL FLATTS sold 164,926 copies of “Nothing Like This,” ranking them at #6.

KEITH URBAN’s “Get Closer,” which was also released last week, debuted at #7 with 161,515 CDs sold. TAYLOR SWIFT scanned 146,358 units of “Speak Now” in her 4th week on the chart.
