The price for the sale of another pair of CLEAR CHANNEL spinoffs has been sold bu the ALOHA STATION TRUST, Top 40 WDKZ (KISS 105.5) and Oldies WLBW (92.1 THE WAVE)/SALISBURY-OCEAN CITY, MD, to EDUCATIONAL MEDIA FOUNDATION is $400,000. The price was not disclosed when the sale was announced last week (NET NEWS 11/23).
In other deals filed with the FCC, BUTLER COUNTY BROADCASTING CO., INC. is selling Country WLBQ-A/MORGANTOWN, KY to BEECH TREE PUBLISHING INC. for $30,000.
CATHOLIC DIOCESE OF DODGE CITY is selling the construction permit for noncommercial KQSH/DODGE CITY, KS to KANSAS SACRED HEART RADIO CORPORATION for $10.
KXVI COMMUNICATIONS is selling the construction permit for noncommercial KTYR/TRINITY, TX to ALELUYA CHRISTIAN BROADCASTING, INC. for $350,000 (half in seller financing).
In Silent STA filings, HORIZON CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP has asked for Silent STAs for K251AW/VERNON, TX; K254BN/WEST ODESSA, TX; K262BU/UNIONVILLE, MO; K283AJ/SNYDER, TX; K266BH/SHERIDAN, AR; K242AZ/SEARCY, AR; and K233BM/ABILENE, TX. The licensee says that "there are inadequate financial resources to keep the stations operating" while it is in the process of "dismantling its network of FM stations" and selling them off.

CROIX, VIRGIN ISLANDS from FAMILY BROADCASTING, INC. to CALEDONIA COMMUNICATIONS CORP. in a distress sale has also closed.
