KTTS Launches 26th Annual Christmas Crusade

Helping Families Have Christmas

JOURNAL BROADCAST GROUP Country KTTS/SPRINGFIELD, MO has launched its annual CHRISTMAS CRUSADE campaign for the next two weeks. Starting TODAY (11/29) from 7a-7p (CT) listeners can call in each day and make pledges to help a family in need have CHRISTMAS presents this year.

PD MARK GRANTIN tells ALL ACCESS that this is the station’s 26th year to run the CRUSADE, which matches listeners with compatible families provided by local agencies and non-profit organizations in the area. Stories of families in need are told on the air throughout the day, about parents who have lost jobs, soldiers who have been injured in the wars in IRAQ and AFGHANISTAN who have trouble providing for their families and more.

Next FRIDAY and SATURDAY (12/10-12/11) the listeners who make pledges will get to meet the families they are helping to present them with their gifts. For more on the campaign, click here.
