Former SAJAK Oldies WTTR-A/WESTMINSTER, MD sportscaster BRYAN MCLEAN has been sentenced to four years' probation after his guilty plea to charges that he exposed himself to someone he thought was a teenage girl, but was in reality an agent from the PENNSYLVANIA Attorney General's office, according to a report in the CARROLL COUNTY TIMES. MCLEAN will serve four-year probation terms for each of six counts, but will serve them simultaneously.
He will also be banned from unsupervised contact with minors, possessing pornography or using the Internet, and will go through a sex offender treatment program; he will have to register as a sex offender for 10 years.
MCLEAN was arrested in PENNSYLVANIA on MARCH 18th, charged with five counts of unlawful contact with a minor and one count of criminal use of a communication facility (a webcam), and pleaded guilty to the charges in AUGUST.
MCLEAN, who joined WTTR in 1987, served as Traffic Director (1990-91) and Business Manager (1993-98) at the station, and called high school and college sports. He apologized at his sentencing, saying, "I know I've let a lot of people down in the communities I've served."
