SCARBOROUGH RESEARCH has named TOM DROUILLARD as Pres./CEO. DROUILLARD will be responsible for the overall leadership of SCARBOROUGH and "will bring new and transformational solution-based services to SCARBOROUGH clients." He will report into the SCARBOROUGH Board effective January 1st, 2011.
DROUILLARD comes to SCARBOROUGH from NIELSEN ONLINE, where he has been serving as President since 2008.
"We are very excited to bring TOM on-board," said ARBITRON EVP SEAN CREAMER. "He has an exceptional leadership background that includes sales, marketing, product development and research. He has distinctly demonstrated the ability to provide the valued services necessary to help clients enhance ROI."
"TOM has a proven track record for collaborating with clients to create value-added services," commented NIELSEN EVP THOM MASTRELLI. "TOM will leverage his overall business leadership experiences to create new local market product solutions that support SCARBOROUGH clients in their evolving cross-platform information needs."
DROUILLARD succeeds GREGG LINDNER, who has been overseeing the day-to-day business and operations this past year. In OCTOBER, the company announced that BOB COHEN, SCARBOROUGH’s President since 1995, who had been on an extended medical leave, would not be returning to the company. LINDNER will be joining ARBITRON as Chief Research Officer/EVP Service Innovation in JANUARY of 2011. In his new role, LINDNER will serve as an ARBITRON's representative on the SCARBOROUGH Board.
"TOM’s background and expertise will be an excellent addition to the SCARBOROUGH team," remarked LINDNER. "TOM’s reputation for innovation, vision and leadership are highly regarded. I feel confident passing the leadership reins to TOM knowing that he will take the SCARBOROUGH brand to the next level."
"I am honored to have been appointed the next CEO of SCARBOROUGH," said DROUILLARD. "SCARBOROUGH has a long tradition of bringing high-quality local market data solutions to media outlets and marketers across the country. I look forward to upholding that tradition, and extending the SCARBOROUGH brand to address evolving client needs and to reflect the increasingly diverse American consumer."
