The Elvis Duran Group Tests Reality TV Waters

Expanding To TV

THE ELVIS DURAN GROUP, in partnership with ATLAS MEDIA CORP., will debut a five-episode pilot for SPIKE TV. "Phowned," based on the "Phone Taps" segment of the nationally syndicated show, launches DECEMBER 13th-17th at 7p ET, repeating at 11p ET.

"We’ve been very curious to see if Phone Taps would translate to television," said ELVIS DURAN GROUP CEO DAVID KATZ. "The concept behind the famous prank calls is a proven fan favorite that could potentially make for interesting TV."

The Phowned cast includes DAVID BRODY, SKEERY JONES, DANIELLE MONARO, LOREN RAYE, GREG T, TJ TAORMINA and GARRETT VOGEL. ELVIS DURAN and DAVID KATZ are executive producers. ATLAS MEDIA CORP. Pres. BRUCE DAVID KLEIN is executive producer and producer. PREMIERE RADIO NETWORKS, syndicator of ELVIS DURAN AND THE MORNING SHOW, provided radio studios for the production.
