Longtime CLEAR CHANNEL Talk WOAI-A/SAN ANTONIO reporter BUD LITTLE has retired after 38 years with the station, reports the SAN ANTONIO EXPRESS-NEWS' JEANNE JAKLE.
LITTLE, nicknamed "Rosebud" for his activity in growing rose bushes and serving as a past President of the SAN ANTONIO ROSE SOCIETY, is planning to run for SAN ANTONIO's City Council in District 10, with a formal announcement coming in JANUARY.
He joined WOAI in 1972 after working in radio and TV news in CORPUS CHRISTI.
