Sea-Comm's Penguin Moving To 98.3 FM in Wilmington, Sunrise To Flip WGLD To '90s Alternative

WSFM Will Sign Off On December 31st

According to STARNEWS, SEA-COMM MEDIA plans to pull the plug on Alternative WSFM (SURF 98.3)/WILMINGTON, NC when it reacquires the station at the end of the month from SUNRISE BROADCASTING (NET NEWS 9/27). SEA-COMM plans to switch Triple A WUIN (106.7 THE PENGUIN) to 98.3 FM. SEA-COMM is also selling its 106.7 FM frequency to CAROLINA CHRISTIAN RADIO.

Meanwhile, SUNRISE BROADCASTING is expected to flip Regional Mexican WLGD (LA GRAND D 98.7 FM) to a '90s-based Alternative as "COASTAL CAROLINA’S MODERN ROCK 98.7" on JANUARY 3rd.
