Former WBBM GM William O'Donnell Dies

Condolences to family and friends of former CBS RADIO News WBBM-A/CHICAGO GM WILLIAM O'DONNELL, who has passed away at 88, according to the CHICAGO SUN-TIMES. O'DONNELL joined CBS in 1962 and served as VP/GM of WBBM from 1974 through 1982 after serving as GM at sister CBS O&O KNXT (TV) (now KCBS-TV)/LOS ANGELES in 1971-73.

O'DONNELL is survived by his wife JULIE and seven children, including actor CHRIS O'DONNELL ("NCIS: LOS ANGELES").
