Here is a recap of some select PPM market highlights from NOVEMBER 2010, compiled by dmr for ALLACCESS and powered by XTrends, radio's #1 PPM and diary analysis tool.
Seattle November 2010: Warm 106.9 Heats Up, Kiss Kicks It
SANDUSKY AC KRWM (WARM 106.9) and CLEAR CHANNEL Top 40 KBKS (106.1 KISS FM) rose from #4 and #5 respectively in OCTOBER to tie for #1 P6+ in NOVEMBER in SEATTLE with 5.1. CLEAR CHANNEL Top 40/Rhythmic KUBE was #3 with 4.4.
KISS FM’s big month included #1 rankings P18-49 (up from #5t) and P25-54 (up from #7). While KUBE was #1 P18-34 (to #2 ENTERCOM Alternative KNDD (107-7 THE END and #3 KISS FM), it fell from #2 to #3 P18-49 and from #14t to #17t P25-54. KISS FM's JACKIE & BENDER MORNING show also had a big NOVEMBER, rising from #5t P25-54 to #1. CBS Adult Hits KJAQ (96.5 JACK FM) made room by dropping from #1 to #7 P25-54 MORNINGS.

Portland November 2010: K103 #1 But Falling; Big Increases For KNRK
CLEAR CHANNEL AC KKCW (K103) dropped 10.3 to 8.3 P6+ but was still #1 in PORTLAND in NOVEMBER. K103 had double-digit percentage share losses for the month in all key demos. OREGON PUBLIC RADIO News/Talk KOPB was #2 P6+ with 6.1 and CLEAR CHANNEL Oldies KLTH was #3 with 5.7.
Meantime, ENTERCOM Alternative KNRK had a big month rising from #5 to #1 P18-34, from #10 to #3 P18-49, and from #14 to #6 P25-54. ALPHA BROADCASTING Triple A KINK and ALPHA BROADCASTING Rock KUFO were mostly flat.
After briefly changing places in SEPTEMBER, #2 P18-34 CLEAR CHANNEL Top 40 KKRZ (Z100) separated itself a bit further from #3 CLEAR CHANNEL Top 40/R KXJM (WILD 107.5).

Cincinnati November 2010: WLW Down 26%, But Still #1
Along with the weather, REDS fever cooled in CINCINNATI as CLEAR CHANNEL Talk WLW-A fell from 13.2 in OCTOBER to 9.8 in NOVEMBER P6+, a 26% drop in share, but still maintained the #1 position. The station saw similar drops in other key demos. #2 BONNEVILLE Country WUBE (B-105) had another strong month (see Snapshot Trends below), closing the gap on WLW moving 7.3-8.0 P6+, and #3 CUMULUS MEDIA PARTNERS Classic Hits WGRR was up 6.0-6.4.
B-105’s CHRIS CARR & COMPANY MORNING show has been the engine pulling the train going #1 P18-34 and P18-49 and #2 with P25-54 and P35-64.
P18-34 switch: CLEAR CHANNEL Rock WEBN pushed CLEAR CHANNEL Top 40 WKFS (KISS 107) from the top spot down to #3 (behind #2 B-105). BONNEVILLE Hot AC WKRQ (Q-102) moved #5 to #4 and CUMULUS Rock WTFX went #6 to #5.
