Gospel Channel Sues Sirius

SIRIUS SATELLITE RADIO is being sued by Gospel broadcaster THE WORD NETWORK for racial discrimination and breach of contract for dropping the service from its lineup. WORD claims that SIRIUS used poor ratings as a pretext for discrimination and that because it was the only channel featuring religious programming aimed at an African-American audience, dropping it without a similar replacement channel means SIRIUS was "motivated by racial and religious discrimination."
