Condolences to family and friends of voice actor SID WHATLEY, who died FRIDAY (12/10) of complications following surgery at 62.
WHATLEY's voice was heard in many venues natiowide, including an on-camera stint as the "SUBARU Cowboy," narration at THE ALAMO, and countless spots, most recently for SHEPLERS' WESTERN WEAR and others. He also was a member of the TEXAS band JUST US FIVE in the 1960's and recorded Country music with his band WILLY KICKIT in the 80's, and played as a session musician.
A service will be held for WHATLEY on TUESDAY (12/14) at 10a (CT) at the FIRST UNITED METHODIST CHURCH in DURANT, OK, with burial afterwards at HIGHLAND CEMETERY.
