CLEAR CHANNEL RADIO's TOTAL TRAFFIC NETWORK is now offering new traffic information options in MEXICO CITY in association with GRUPO ACIR RADIO. TTN has added the capability to deliver traffic incident and flow data for RDS-TMC enabled devices and is supporting a mobile application on the country's largest carrier.
TTN SVP LANCE LOCHER said, "Leveraging our rich information and system resources to serve the greatest number of drivers is the core of our business - and tailoring our resources for mobile applications and RDS-TMC enabled devices are key extensions of the TTN brand. As an international provider of traffic content, we've always been platform agnostic -- ready to work with multiple transmission networks to serve motorists' needs. Mobile solutions and broadcast data solutions now in the market create the most convenient and adaptive ways for local audiences to receive core traffic data. This extension of our traffic brand in MEXICO CITY plays well into our International development strategy."
GRUPO ACIR RADIO EVP ANTONIO IBARRA said, "Marrying GRUPO ACIR's on-the-ground traffic monitoring resources with TTN's expertise in data sourcing, organization, preparation and delivery has enabled a powerful new solution that can help motorists solve the puzzle of MEXICO CITY traffic."
