Radio San Diego Promotes Jack Evans To VP/Station Mgr.

30 year radio veteran JACK EVANS has been promoted to VP/Station Mgr. for the three radio stations owned by BROADCAST COMPANY OF THE AMERICAS and operated jointly with COMPASS RADIO's KPRI as RADIO SAN DIEGO. The announcement made by RADIO SAN DIEGO CEO LARRY PATRICK.
EVANS joined RADIO SAN DIEGO in MAY, 2009. "I’ve learned the secret to success is surrounding yourself with smart, interesting and passionate people," said EVANS. "Without them the equipment, transmitters and towers are worthless."
In his new position, EVANS will oversee Sports XEPRS-A (XX 1090), Sports XEPE-A (1700AM ESPN RADIO), and Adult Hits XHPRS (105.7 THE WALRUS).
CEO LARRY PATRICK added, "Numbers don't lie. Our ratings are better because of JACK. The memorable radio he creates impacts listeners, our sponsors and his staff. He is a radio veteran who builds brands and success."
Previously, EVANS spent eighteen years with CLEAR CHANNEL COMMUNICATIONS, most recently as SVP/Programming and Operations.
