Universal Music Group Drops $790K On Lobbying In Q3

VIVENDI's UNIVERSAL MUSIC GROUP spent $790,000 lobbying the government during the 3rd quarter. Most of that money was targeted on the Performance Rights Bill currently before Congress that would pay performers and labels for songs played over the radio.
UMG dropped $620,000 during the same period in 2009, and $840,000 in Q2 of this year.
