STEPHEN A. SMITH is leaving the morning shift at FOX SPORTS RADIO, and the network's other morning show, "ZAKK AND JACK," will be offered to all affiliates, starting JANUARY 3rd. SMITH told listeners this morning that his last show will be THURSDAY (12/23), and added in a tweet, "Trust me when I tell ya'll (sic): you will be hearing from me very, very soon. In a Big way, too :-)"
SMITH, the former PHILADELPHIA INQUIRER sports columnist and ESPN personality, will continue with FSR as NBA analyst. FSR began feeding the INDIANAPOLIS-based "ZACK AND JACK" -- DOMINIC "ZAKK WYLDE" ZACCAGNINI and former NFL quarterback JACK TRUDEAU -- as an alternative to SMITH's show earlier this year.
SMITH is scheduled to appear on CNN's "PARKER/SPITZER," discussing politics, TONIGHT (10/21). He recently filled in with political talk at ACCESS.1 Talk WWRL-A/NEW YORK.
