EMF Buys Two Knoxville Stations

FOOTHILLS BROADCASTING is selling Contemporary Christian WYLV (LOVE 89.1) and Christian AC WOEZ (LIFE 88.3)/KNOXVILLE, TN to the not-for-profit Christian broadcasting group, EDUCATIONAL MEDIA FOUNDATION, reports WATE.COM. Both stations will now air feeds from EMF's national K-LOVE and Air 1 networks; the on-air talent will not be local.

Decisions have not been made about current employees, according to the corporate office. The switch takes effect on JANUARY 1st.
