KFMB-A Recruits Mike Slater For Mornings

MIDWEST TV Talk KFMB-A/SAN DIEGO brings in MIKE SLATER to do mornings, effective JANUARY. 3rd. His appointment moves RICK ROBERTS to afternoon drive, which moves TRN’s MICHAEL SAVAGE to evenings.

"I am excited about living in SAN DIEGO and exploring the issues that effect San Diegans as well as Californians and Americans," noted SLATER, who will be joined by SAN DIEGO radio vet DINAH SMITH.

"MIKE is a rare breed, with a conservative Ivy League background, and a fresh perspective on today’s issues," PD DAVE SNIFF said.

"We are excited to begin 2011 with a new voice and a new vitality on AM 760, VP/GM GINA LANDAU added.
