Columbia/Legacy To Release Rare Johnny Cash Recordings, Cash Featured In Rock Band 3

The TENNESSEAN is reporting that COLUMBIA/LEGACY will release a collection of rare, early JOHNNY CASH recordings for a double-album titled “From MEMPHIS To HOLLYWOOD.” The collection features previously unreleased demos, live radio recordings, non-album singles and B-sides from the 1950s and '60s. It will hit stores FEBRUARY 22nd.

Concurrently, according to CMT.com, eight CASH songs have been released for download and play on ROCK BAND 3. The selections include hits like “Folsom Prison Blues,” “I Walk The Line,” “Cry, Cry, Cry,” “The Ballad Of IRA HAYES” and more. The songs are available on XBOX 360, WII and PLAYSTATION 3.
