Moody Radio Names Roy Patterson Station Manager

ROY PATTERSON was named Station Manager of MOODY RADIO/CHICAGO, which includes WMBI and WMBI-A.  PATTERSON been with MOODY RADIO in CHICAGO for nine years, serving as Executive Producer and Community Relations Coordinator.   He currently hosts a daily MOODY RADIO program, "URBAN PRAISE," and two weekend music programs, "CELEBRATION OF PRAISE" and "MUSIC FOR SUNDAY."  In his new role, he will transition away from "URBAN PRAISE" but will continue his weekend programming.

“We are excited and encouraged to have Roy transition into this new role at MOODY RADIO CHICAGO,” said MOODY RADIO Marketing and Development Manager BRUCE EVERHART.  “ROY deeply loves MOODY RADIO and the MOODY BIBLE INSTITUTE, and his firm conviction for cross-cultural ministry is what we need in our increasingly diverse city.  God has provided, and we look forward to working with ROY in meeting the needs of MOODY RADIO CHICAGO’s broad audience.”

In addition to managing the station, PATTERSON will serve as a spokesperson for MOODY RADIO CHICAGO, cultivating relationships with pastors and community leaders in an effort to enhance the station’s visibility within CHICAGO.
