BNA/NASHVILLE star KENNY CHESNEY has announced 41 new arena and amphitheatre dates on his 2011 GOIN' COASTAL tour, joining ten previously announced stadium shows (two already sold out).
This is one of CHESNEY's biggest tours in five years, following a year off from touring. The GOIN' COASTAL tour begins MARCH 17th at the CRUZAN AMPHITHEATRE in WEST PALM BEACH, FL.
Additional cities include LITTLE ROCK, PORTLAND, ME, WICHITA, INDIO, CA, BATON ROUGE, SOUTHAVEN, MS, ATLANTA, GRAND RAPIDS, MI, TUSCALOOSA, AL, LEXINGTON, KY and more.
CHESNEY said: "To know that the music you've created and some of the songs you've written mean so much to so many people -- I've loved seeing it grow into that. It's a show, but our shows have become experiences. I love that about our crowd. My fans work hard, and they play hard. And I'm like that, too. The two hours I'm up there, I don't think about anything else. I love that shared experience. It's what I love about live music."
MERCURY/NASHVILLE artist BILLY CURRINGTON and TOP DOG/BIGGER PICTURE/ATLANTIC's UNCLE KRACKER will be the opening acts for all dates. Previously announced stadium dates will also star ATLANTIC/SOUTHERN GROUND/BIGGER PICTURE's ZAC BROWN BAND. Fans can expect even more dates to be announced in the coming weeks.
