Popular Texas Artists To Perform At Governor's Inaugural

Some very popular TEXAS/Country artists will perform at the swearing-in ceremony for TEXAS Governor RICK PERRY and Lt. Governor DAVID DEWHURST, to take place on JANUARY 18th at 11a (CT). The “EVENING INAUGURAL CELEBRATION,” will take place on the South steps of the TEXAS CAPITOL in AUSTIN.

Performing will be PAT GREEN, the ELI YOUNG BAND and CLAY WALKER.

We've lined up such a solid group of performers to top off what will be a most historically-significant day for our great state," said WEISE STEEN, Chair of the 2011 TEXAS INAUGURAL COMMITTEE. "TEXAS is fertile ground for good music, so the Evening Inaugural Celebration showcases a few home-grown favorites that have become household names. It's sure to be a night to remember!"
