Condolences to family and friends of FORT SMITH, AR radio station owner and civic leader FRED BAKER SR., who died MONDAY (1/10) at 89, according to the THE TIMES RECORD of FORT SMITH.
BAKER, a management consultant and former engineer for the ATOMIC ENERGY COMMISSION, owned Top 40 KISR, Religion KFSA-A, and Spanish Variety KREU/FORT SMITH with son FRED BAKER JR. He also served on the NAB's Board of Directors and was active in ROTARY INTERNATIONAL.
