KWYK "Gives Away The Farm"

On FRIDAY (4/14), BASIN BROADCASTING Hot AC KWYK (QUICK (94.9)/FARMINGTON/AZTEC, NM PD/morning man WOODY NELSON literally "GAVE AWAY THE FARMINGTON" creating a ruckus in downtown FARMINGTON as the station gave away everything from computer equipment, CDs, and a chance for listeners to qualify to win a HARLEY DAVIDSON. KWYK dancers were on hand stopping traffic outside the station with their 14 minute version of the "YMCA," and GOVERNOR BILL RICHARDSON even made a brief appearance. Proceeds from the event went to benefit the local chapters of THE RED CROSS, and the BOYS & GIRLS CLUBS OF AMERICA.
