THE MENTORING & INSPIRING WOMEN IN RADIO (MIWs) GROUP has announced the mentees chosen to participate in the 2011 MILDRED CARTER MENTORING PROGRAM:

*TAJA GRAHAM, Local Sales Mgr., WLHK, (EMMIS/INDIANAPOLIS);

*MICHELE KIEFER, Dir./Sales, WFMS, WJJK, WRWM, (CUMULUS/INDIANAPOLIS)

The MIW Group consists of top-level radio women across the country who are dedicated to using their influence and resources to support women in radio to develop strong management and leadership skills. The MIW’s are equally committed to advocating the advancement of women to senior positions in radio companies and corporations.

The mentoring program was established in 2002 in an effort to match mentees with female professionals who are leaders in all aspects of the radio industry. The MIW's have assisted mentees with learning more about the ins and outs of the industry, networking up and down the corporate ladder and providing guidance for the Mentee to grow her career in whatever direction she chooses.
