4 FINI, INC., producers of the VANS WARPED TOUR, have announced the formation of WILLIE NELSON’S COUNTRY THROWDOWN TOUR 2011. 

The second annual outdoor amphitheater trek (previously just called the COUNTRY THROWDOWN TOUR) will feature performances by headliner WILLIE NELSON and supporting acts on multiple stages, such as JAMEY JOHNSON, RANDY HOUSER, LEE BRICE, BRANTLEY GILBERT, CRAIG CAMPBELL and LUKAS NELSON & THE PROMISE OF THE REAL. The tour will also include a full concourse of lifestyle attractions and vendors (to be announced soon) with an affordable ticket price.

WILLIE NELSON’S COUNTRY THROWDOWN TOUR 2011 launches in PHILADELPHIA at THE MANN on MAY 27th, running through JULY 4th. Doors open daily at 3p (local time) and the shows continue until 11p (local time).

In addition to the two main stages, there will also be a BLUEBIRD CAFÉ stage that will feature six singer-songwriters performing in an in-the-round setting. Those performers will be announced soon.
