This weekend, EMMIS Rocker WLUP (THE LOOP)/CHICAGO became "CHICAGO's Classic Rock Station," focusing on the music that once defined the sound of THE LOOP.
"We are thrilled to be playing tons of Classic Rock that the station hasn't played in quite some time," says PD RICK BALIS.
Core artists now returning to THE LOOP include BOSTON, THE EAGLES, FOREIGNER, JOURNEY, STEVE MILLER and TOM PETTY to go along with classic artists like AEROSMITH, DEF LEPPARD, LED ZEPPELIN and THE ROLLING STONES that THE LOOP has been featuring for years.
The weekday personality lineup stays consistent with PETE MCMURRAY in the morning, PAT CAPONE in middays, BYRD in the afternoon and WALT FLAKUS at night.
