Channel 103-1 Easter Lovin'

CLEAR CHANNEL Alternative WHRL (CHANNEL 103-1)/ALBANY, NY had some EASTER fun by having life-size bunnies out on several very busy intersections doing the wild thing. Listeners who spotted the horny bunnies had to call the station and say where the bunnies were and what position they were in to win concert tickets to a show of their choice.

WHRL PD LISA BIELLO told ALL ACCESS, "All was good until calls starting coming in to 911, describing two bunnies simulating sex acts on street corners! So, the cops ran the plates on the getaway car, traced it back to me, and then made the connection to the radio station. No charges were filed, however the Police Chief made it clear that we were in violation of three laws (all of them misdemeanors) and that we could be arrested should someone choose to press charges.

"Our morning romp was suspended, but not before we managed to get a couple of choice photos...one of the bunnies doing it up against a state trooper's car and the other on the steps to the STATE CAPITAL building!"
