WEQX Rebrands To 'ski-QX'

New Name For February

NORTHSHIRE COMMUNICATIONS Alternative WEQX/MANCHESTER, VT-ALBANY, NY has rebranded to "102.7 ski-QX" for the entire month of FEBRUARY. The 26-year heritage station will be giving away lift tickets to listeners every weekday all month to area mountains, including KILLINGTON, MT. SNOW, STRATTON, and BROMLEY.

The ski-QX spirit will be reflected in its on-air and online presence and will include special programming, guests and music. In the midst of another one-two punch of winter storms, the timing couldn’t be better for 'EQX to take advantage of some winter play.

WEQX became "ski-QX" at 8:30a with a celebratory block of music including THE CRASH KINGS - Mountain Man, JANE’S ADDICTION -Mountain Song, and the RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS - Snow.
