The 11th annual NONCOMMVENTION is set for MAY 19th-21st -- again presented by WXPN/PHILADELPHIA. This gathering focuses on the concerns and issues of the public-radio segment of the Triple A community. In addition to informative sessions and presentations, there will be plenty of artist performances. And this year the gathering will be held at the brand new WORLD CAFE LIVE AT THE QUEEN in downtown WILMINGTON, DE.
Early acts announced include NEW YORK DOLLS, DEVOTCHKA, G.LOVE, JOHN POPPER & THE DUSKRAY TROUBADOURS and JAMES MCCARTNEY. In addition, two important keynotes are planned: "World Cafe" host DAVID DYE will interview ROBBIE ROBERTSON, and legendary artist manager CLIFF BURNSTEIN will give his perspective on today's music business in a conversation with convention organizer DAN REED.
