Global map/traffic provider NAVTEQ has been picked up by ENTERCOM for its six radio stations in SACRAMENTO, CA. NAVTEQ will provide real-time traffic services both on-air and online via its NAVTEQ Traffic™ and NAVTEQ TrafficOne™ products, respectively.
"NAVTEQ Traffic has become the benchmark for traffic information in a digital age," ENTERCOM VP/Market Manager JOHN GEARY said. "This relationship, which will provide the best, most up-to-the-second traffic information to help listeners manage their daily commutes, will certainly enhance our business."
"Adding ENTERCOM makes NAVTEQ’s 10 content advertising sponsorships in SACRAMENTO even more powerful for our advertisers," NAVTEQ NORTH AMERICA Head of Sales MORT GREENBERG said. "According to the latest ARBITRON books, advertisers now have access to 16 out of the top-25 stations in the market."
