Christina Aguilera Sorry After National Anthum Flub

FACEBOOK and TWITTER were busy with comments last night after CHRISTINA AGUILERA fumbled the lyrics to the National Anthem during the pre-game show for SUPER BOWL XLV.

Where AGUILERA should have sung, "O'er the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming," instead basically repeated an earlier line, singing "What so proudly we watched at the twilight's last gleaming."

AGUILERA released a statement, saying "I can only hope that everyone could feel my love for this country and that the true spirit of its anthem still came through."

To AGUILERA's credit, she didn't allow the mistake to affect the rest of her performance. And the fact that she botched the lyrics proved that she was genuinely singing live.
