CAPITOL’s LADY ANTEBELLUM and BIG MACHINE’s RASCAL FLATTS were forced to postpone tour dates on FRIDAY (2/4) due to winter weather conditions. LADY A has postponed their stop at the WINSTAR WORLD CASINO in THACKERVILLE, OK to JUNE 2nd. All tickets for the FEBRUARY 4th show will be honored on the newly scheduled date.
LADY ANTEBELLUM’s CHARLES KELLEY said: “We hate ever having to reschedule a tour date, especially our first date in 2011. We have to be concerned about the safety of our fans traveling to and from the concert, so we’re rescheduling for JUNE when we know snow and ice won’t be able to keep us away!”
RASCAL FLATTS have postponed their NEW ORLEANS concert date to a yet to be announced date. They were unable to make it from AUSTIN to NEW ORLEANS because of snowy conditions. Unfortunately, there were a dozen contest winners from around the nation already in town for the concert but JIMMY BUFFETT’s MARGARITAVILLE restaurant opened their doors to the group of winners, providing a gratis meal for the winners. During the dinner, BIG MACHINE, on behalf of RASCAL FLATTS, let the winners know that they would get tickets to an upcoming concert date closest to their hometown.
In other RASCAL FLATTS news, they have recorded a the song “That Should Be Me” with teen sensation JUSTIN BIEBER, which will be featured on his “Never Say Never: The Remixes” album, due out on VALENTINE’S DAY (2/14).
