According to QUAD CITIES ONLINE, an FCC rep visited JASON DUNCAN and MATTHEW BRITCHER yesterday (4/18), and informed them that their unlicensed radio station, known as POWER 103.3, is operating in violation of FCC rules.
"He asked to see the studio but once we found out he didn't have a warrant, we said no," DUNCAN told QUAD CITIES ONLINE. The duo, who have been operating their fledgling station since last week, claim that their broadcasts are legal, citing an obsure FCC rule that allows "an emergency broadcast on a temporary basis under extraordinary circumstances, such as the continuance of war."
