Don Geronimo's Wife Pays Off Super Bowl Bet

Whether it was due to his "prayer to Jebus" on FRIDAY or because the PACKERS were just better than the STEELERS on SUNDAY, CBS RADIO Sports KHTK-A/SACRAMENTO midday host DON GERONIMO, a lifelong and rabid PACKERS fan, won his bet with his equally rabid STEELERS fan wife, and the result had his wife proclaiming the PACKERS' -- and her husband's -- greatness on the street in front of the station MONDAY afternoon.

During MONDAY's show, JANET SORCE, who had previously plastered her husband's office door with STEELER logos and had otherwise irritated GERONIMO with predictions of a seventh STEELER championship, paid off her bet by walking along Madison Avenue in SACRAMENTO wearing a sandwich board with the front page of the GREEN BAY PRESS-GAZETTE (proclaiming "WORLD CHAMPS") in the front and "My Husband is a GENIUS" on the back.  Sporting a huge foam hat and STEELERS jersey, she also used a bullhorn to proclaim the PACKERS' superiority and "Go PACK Go" to passing cars, stopping traffic and drawing stares and horn honks.  And just to make sure, she also wore an arm band with a list of "words you can't say on the radio."

A clearly pleased GERONIMO praised JANET for going "above and beyond" in paying off the bet and added, "I've never been more aroused than I am right now."
