SAGA Talk WHCU-A-W240CB/ITHACA, NY "MORNING NEWSWATCH" producer DOUG SCOTT is exiting after four years to finish his education at SUNY CORTLAND, after which he hopes to work as a political spokesman.
Morning host DAVE VIESER said, "DOUG has been an amazing producer. He made great connections and booked awesome guests not just locally but on a national and international level as well. We really hate to see him go, but only wish him the very best as he works toward his degree."
That means WHCU is looking for a new producer to work part-time in the afternoons on weekdays, 20 hours a week, four hours a day. The station hopes to find someone from the local ITHACA area who loves to follow local and national news. VIESER said, "Our producer works the phones to schedule guests, and works closely with the news department to make sure we're on top of what's important to our listeners."
