Condolences to family and friends of former longtime WBT-A/CHARLOTTE evening talk host "HELLO HENRY" BOGGAN, who died this morning of a heart attack in CHARLOTTE at 71. 

BOGGAN started at WAYN-A/ROCKINGHAM, NC and later hosted at WDIX-A/ORANGEBURG, SC and WBIG-A/GREENSBORO before starting his nearly two decade run on WBT. 

In a statement to employees, WBT GM RICK JACKSON said that "I never met a man that more personified the ideas of a Southern Gentleman. And I've never heard another radio man who was better at connecting with his listeners."
