The LOS ANGELES DODGERS are moving Spanish-language radio broadcasts from LIBERMAN Ranchera KHJ-A/LOS ANGELES to UNIVISION Spanish Talk KTNQ-A under a new two-year deal. Hall of Famer JAIME JARRIN, PEPE YNIGUEZ and FERNANDO VALENZUELA, the DODGERS' long-time Spanish radio broadcast team, will make the move to KTNQ starting with SATURDAY's Spring Training game against CINCINNATI.
"We are thrilled to see a partnership between two of the greatest and most established brands within the Spanish-speaking community in LOS ANGELES -- UNIVISION and the DODGERS," said JARRIN. "This is a great time in our broadcast's long history and we look forward to expanding our fan base with our new partner UNIVISION, a leader in Spanish programming."
The deal also includes cross-promotional elements, an outdoor media campaign and DODGER updates on the other stations in the cluster, Spanish AC KLVE, Regional Mexican KSCA (LA NUEVA 101.9), and Spanish Oldies KRCD (RECUERDO). The team will also work with the UNIVISION MEDIA sales group for ad sales.
